Prime day
« on: July 05, 2017, 11:15:59 PM »
So it sounds like this is an uber deals day, not sure if they would have any games that day too?  Lemming? have you picked yourself up from D2 to look at the outside world?

Wonder if its worth looking at, or getting someone who is on it to help get something?

Prime Day is a joke. It's just a big Amazon garage sale full of shit they can't get rid of at full price.

Yeah, historically it hasn't been anything worth getting excited about.

I was looking at historic low prices for some game, there are some at $15US eg Doom, BLOPs 3.  I might not be able to run either, but when I could get a necro in d3 for the same price, it makes me less inclined to give blizzard money.

Well I bought a digital copy of Arrival.

Also considering getting the PS4 bundled with Uncharted and The Last of Us Remastered.  $229

Bought a Fire HD 8 for my mother as a birthday present.

Contemplating picking up the $199 Acer chromebook with the 15.6" screen.

Also tempted by a Ninja blender and a sous vide thingamajig.

No decent computer hardware or games striking my fancy.
