snow day today because they were predicting up to a foot with wind in the metro area overnight. we got 6-8 inches or so, hit a balmy high of 10 fahrenheit this afternoon... took the kiddos sledding. however, they also just cancelled school the next two days, due to the forecast temps above. coldest in over 2 decades, apparently. -25 F is about -32 Celsius, for reference. brrrrr

My country making international news for the wrong reasons. Housing sucks if you aren’t in the market. A whole bunch of reasons. Current government promised to fix it with 100 000 new homes in 10 years. For about 4 million people that would make a difference. Now that averages 10 000 houses a year.  If they had a first year target of 1 000 and that’s starting a few months after taking office.

So far they have 47 ... and will do maybe 300 in the first year. But try to tell us the 100k target is still doable...
