Alas, Borderlands 3 doesn't exist, so I don't understand the appeal of a DLC that bridges the gap between BL2 and a game that isn't. :P :P :P

This https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/borderlands3/comments/byrcby/is_haderax_the_invincible_hard_me/

So if you have tonnes of the best gear, a highest level character and know the strategy, plus luck you can beat it

Cool story

Ah shit...really?  I hope this is not the case.

I just can't get myself fired up over the game coming from such an assclown of a person.

Are you guys serious?  There are a bunch of people who have played the game.  It was available to play if you went to the last conference.  They were giving people 90 minutes slices of time on the game.  Then there are the 'influencers' who have had greater access.  They don't have copies of the game but they have played it and there are plenty of videos showing gameplay if you look for them.

@Lego: Certainly a valid choice.  But you have already said this a couple of times.  Please make your own thread if that is what you want to discuss.

Well yes, preview stuff. Sorry, I thought you were saying people are playing the game on their own systems.

At any rate, my comment about it not existing had more to do with the fact that it doesn't "exist" until it's not an Epic exclusive, so not until like September 2020, iirc? ;)

Well, I have been learning to play the game on PS4.  I have actually been surprised at how well it plays with a controller.

It does really blow that for the PC this is an Epic exclusive.

Unfortunately, as much as I enjoy some PS4 games, I just can *NOT* aim well and fast enough with a controller to ever play a fast-paced shooter on console. I could only barely manage Horizon Zero Dawn thanks to it's generous aim assist and the skills that slow time and stuff.

Yes this.

Having a temporary dev build to build hype, or getting some people  a preview is standard stuff.  But if you don't physically go to a conference, or you aren't an influencer, then you can't play the game yet.  What they are doing might not even exist in the release build.

https://borderlands.com/en-US/characters/

Full character descriptions are up with trees for you to explore the skills.  Very different skill management.

I think I will just start in game and do a WTF build before I worry too much about it.  Right now I think I am going to do Moze -> Fl4k -> Zane -> Amara.

I imagine that I will be the only playing this come Sept 13, but I can't wait.  My first play through will be Moze > Fl4k > Zane > Amara.

For Moze I am planing a Splash Damage/Grenade build.
Moze Sez Shit Go b00m!

For Fl4k I am looking to do a Critical Based Build:
Crit for you, and you! Crits for EVERYONE!

That should keep me plenty busy in the beginning.
