The true mark of a successful photo op is literally everyone involved spending the next 24 hours trying to walk back their part in it happening

from the NYT regarding tonight's rally:

Quote
A few hours before the event, the campaign disclosed that six Trump campaign staff members who had been working on the rally had tested positive for the coronavirus during a routine screening. Mr. Trump, who was made aware of the sick campaign aides before departing for the rally, was incensed that the news was made public, according to two people familiar with his reaction.

re the rally, mike osterholm (epidemiologist at the U of MN) said "I wouldn't go if all four Beatles were coming".

I watched some of it.  He was unhinged.  And the crowds?  As small as his hands.

Yeah.  I am just flabbergasted by this administration.  When do we hit bottom?  So depressing.

It seems like we've hit bottom about 20 times already.

4- 5 months until you get to vote though, that's not much.

Time to get active - look up the places in your area with the lowest voter turn out history, and volunteer to help. :)

Of course, thanks to the electoral college, many of us live in places where our vote is just slightly more than meaningless. :/

I assume most of you are familiar the Lincoln Project videos.  This is a republican group against Trump.  They have been putting out a lot of videos aimed at Trump.

Just here to say that the UK's laughable excuse for a Prime Minister is seemingly determined to not only copy but, exceed Trump's stupidity. I wish you all every success for November in having your idiot replaced. I've got five more years of this mop haired coked up narwhal.
