edit2: MN is asking state employees to volunteer for 2 week stints in long-term care facilities. "RNs, LPNs, CNAs preferred, but no experience required". apparently it's mostly to gauge interest at this point, but they're trying to plan ahead...

That is insane.

GPU wise. I just got a GTX 3070 for 499.  Pricey, but the the 2070 was basically the same price, so no point in getting one until the price drops.  If you can wait for the 3060 to come out that would be best.  The last generation won't have the latest support for the new goodies which are now being supported by new games.

Good performance boost.

I would start with understanding what you want to spend on a GPU.  Start with that and build around it.

All this is a coup attempt.  Hardly surprising and I certainly hope he gets in trouble for it.  The whole thing is disgusting.

Movies & TV / Re: What are you watching?

I love the Expanse and can't wait for the new season.

Watching The Boys which is a very dystopian view on Super heroes.  I am about to start watching the second season.  First season was very enjoyable.

I am in the final season of Schitt's Creek.  I have been very surprised by this sit-com.  Highly recommended.

Mandalorian Season 2. Mostly meh.  But enjoyable enough.

Great British Baking Show - this is something that my wife and I enjoy watching.  Which is ridiculous because she is gluten free and we are both not eating diary.  But it is good mindless fun.

Ha...I had the same feeling. Until it was in my hands I wasn't sure.

It looks a bit like a modern Skyrim.   Just from the trailers.

Yeah, Geralt is a bit flat, but the game is still pretty great and is gorgeous, even without ray tracing.

I guess I will have to get AC Odyssey at some point.  I think my main game is going to Cyberpunk.  I will get it after Control and Witcher.  I didn't realize that the full release of Baldur's Gate was that far off.  Hell, at that pace D4 might be out.

I played about half of the first AC, it was ok but boring.  I have never played any of the others.  I heard one is really good but there a like a zillion of them now.

Witcher 3 -> Control.  After that I will probably want to play either Cyberpunk or Baldur's Gate.
