Diablo 3 / Re: Diablo 4?

Yeah...but I had fun with D3 when it first came out.  D2 was more broken when it first came out IMO.  D3 had many, many problems but it was pretty fun and fluid fighting game.

Learned a lot?  Based on that snippet I would say they have not learned what they needed to learn.  We are basically seven months out from that debacle and they are still grasping at straws.

I wish we were gearing up for D4 at this point.  I probably won't play D3 anymore.

@Dave -- I like the new Tar of you!  Who is the guy with the sunglasses though?

I am guessing most people here are going to mad/upset at the ending.

Personally, I was fine with the ending.

The idea of someone like her ruling I think is pretty terrifying.  When she lost the councilors that she trusted she had no one to curb her worst instincts.  The thing that surprised me the most is that Grey Worm let John live.

As for Bran being the new king, meh.  He is a better choice than most.  And that is the point.  It ends up coming down to a choice that a handful of people make.  At least he will make a pretty good judge.

The North breaking away from the rest also makes sense.

I am probably less invested in the story as I never read the books, and only started watching a little over a year ago.  It seems that many felt that they had ownership over the story and with that lots of expectations.

Will be interesting to see where it wraps up.  I'm going in with 0 expectations, hope I'm not disappointed.  I'd laugh if The Mountain isn't dead and finishes off Dany ..

Share your thoughts on where how you found it

I am assuming that you have not watched the last couple of episodes based on that comment.

As an aside, my favorite moment was the Battle of Winterfell and the defeat of the White Walkers.  Sure some of the tactics in that episode were sketchy but easily the high point of the season for me.

The character moves so slowly in TQ.  I tried to replay it about a year ago and found it painful.

Each of the nest areas has this big device that sits in the middle of them.  At the base of the device is a button.  When you push the button the device shoots fire over the whole area.  If the critters are around you will light them on fire.  If you are not careful you will light yourself on fire too.

My Zero has hit level 55.  Making slow progress and I am one level away from critical ascension.  Zero really doesn't have much in the way of crowd control.  Also frustrated by the lack of punch with my snipper.  Right now I think Mordecai and Maya are better snipers.  I probably just need a better weapon.

TVHM is harder than UVHM because you can be underlevelled for the content and it will really hurt you. Although if you want a challenge, trying to get through TVHM at the lowest level possible, will make for an easier start to UVHM.

That is true.  I generally do the minimum number of quests to keep myself on level.  Being under-leveled is a huge challenge and forces you to start using slag to survive, which is good training for UVHM.

Another way to do the quest without a fire is to turn on the fire turbines that are near the varkyn areas.

Ah...the Book of Three and the adventures of Taran.

It is what got me into Fantasy.  I enjoyed reading these books to my kids.  Good memories.

I am enjoying the new season.  I was never a die-hard Game of Thrones fan.  I didn't like the book and enjoyed the show.  I do think there is a drop off in the current season but I don't think I am as invested as some people.

when you get to Tundra Express there is a snowman on the right.  Shoot the head and you will find a fire weapon.

And yes.  TVHM is annoying as hell.  It follows the old Diablo thing of Normal --> Nightmare --> Hell.  The goal is to get through it as quickly as possible if you have an interest in doing UVHM.  UVHM is pretty challenging though so it is not for everyone.

I don't think bad is the right term, though I am sure some would disagree.  Overall I would say it became more uneven.  I think the first four (five?) that had corresponding books were better than the books because they covered the flaws of the story.  It is always easier to build something when you are starting from a solid foundation.

I will be curious as to what you think of both games.  I played the first Rage a bit but it was mostly meh.  Tried to be Borderlands but failed.

That the penultimate episode was unexpected.  Tough to say more without spoiling.
