Which is true, but the focus here for me is;

There is only one group who would criminalise anti-fascist views. If you believe this tweet, that group is issuing directions from the White House.

I'm not convinced the world is actually there yet, but I was shocked that I could even find such a thought plausible.

I mean, it's a tweet, on the internet. Where exaggeration lives.

But even I'm surprised that this is more than just a little believable, and I'm cynical for a living.

It occurs to me that the non-Australian members of this board who occasionally watch kids TV might not have heard of Bluey.

It may be the best aussie TV export ever. It's certainly my favourite show to watch with my 3 year old.

I highly recommend seeking it out wherever you are if you have kids. You may even be able to download one of the really really good episodes from random internet places.

First child free day where I can leave the house for more than just a walk has me a bit manic, but music for the night is:

A little drum 'n' bass...

Followed by some honky electro-swing.

Oh right, that bit.

My little guy doesn't mind that bit. He knows that the giant 'is helping everyone'.... and it probably helps that daddy gives him a cuddle about then too.

I see what you mean now.

That reminds me of when I recommended Iron Giant for my wife to watch with the kids while I was on a business trip.  She called me with 10 minutes left with her and the kids bawling.  She was yelling at me and telling me what an awful person I am.  I told her to wait and see what happens in the final ten minutes.  I still get yelled at about that recommendation from time to time.  It's only been about 10 years for them to get over it.

My 3 year old watches the iron giant all teh time. Which bit is the bad bit?

It rained for three days straight here over the weekend. Mr 3 now dances his way through the blues brothers (and yes, I'm taking the discussions about rude words on the chin)

The US has officially passed the point where people with manners politely ignore that your leader is a paste eating idiot.

I can't even imagine how embarassed decent people in the states must be right now.

US's global reputation hits rock-bottom over Trump's coronavirus response

To a watching world, the absence of a fair, affordable US healthcare system, the cut-throat contest between American states for scarce medical supplies, the disproportionate death toll among ethnic minorities, chaotic social distancing rules, and a lack of centralised coordination are reminiscent of a poor, developing country, not the most powerful, influential nation on earth.

That’s a title the US appears on course to lose – a fall from grace that may prove irreversible. The domestic debacle unleashed by the pandemic, and global perceptions of American selfishness and incompetence, could change everything. According to Walt, Trump has presided over “a failure of character unparalleled in US history”.

Do Americans realise how far their country’s moral as well as financial stock has fallen? Perhaps at this time of extreme stress, it seems not to matter. But it will matter later on – for them and for the future international balance of power.

I really, really don't envy people in the states right now.

Due to pressure from the state governments, Australia did okay in terms of their first response, and we are going to have to be very careful managing what comes next, and probably the next 12 months.

The US still doubling its cases every 2-3 days would be a terrifying prospect if i lived there, particularly with your healthcare setup.

As a follow up image, this just blows my mind:

I did not think I would spend an hour of my sunday watching video game world record attempts.

I absolutely did not think it would be about the NES game Punch Out

And yet, here we are. This is bizarrely watchable for the most part, especialy considering I have zero interest in the game itself.

Side request: If you find any good rare jewels, please post them here. I'm on the hunt for a couple of 10 Res All / 7FHR / 2 other mod jewels to complete my claws, and want to see what everyone else has :)

Good jewels I've found in the last month:

Nice one mate, show us what you get up to :)

Congrats on 98!  I'll bet you're sick of Baal runs.

Yes - they are mind numbing.

I think it's more effective to do 98-99 hunting Nihlathak, but I'm staying away from the heavy grind for a bit. The last 100 million exp was very hard going.

Going to do a little bit of MFing, then maybe level a new build if I can find one that interests me.

I do plan on getting her to 99 but... it will be a while.

Time for a break.
