Congrats Orbert and Syn!  Syn I saw you doing one of the GR100s HC the other night. Well done.

Primals. Bah humbug.

I haven't done a public game yet, but the GO clan looks pretty big. Are there any active members that would be willing to schedule some group times next season to achieve the conquests? I think that will help with my achievements as well as my interest in the game.

I always enjoy running conquests MP. Pretty sure I'll be making a Demon Hunter first to try out the new set and a DH is a very good conquest/season slaying machine. When the season begins let's look at our schedules and try to come up with a time to run season requirements. I'm trying to be on every Monday evening 8:00 - 11:00 EST these days, but when the season begins, I'll be trying to get in a little time every day if possible.

NP, some tips on reducing that time are:

A Ruby in a Leoric's Crown gives you a huge percentage bonus to XP;
A leoric's Signet Ring gives you another 20 something percent or so;
Craft a Hellfire ring which also gives another 20 percent or so.

Those are the ones I try to have equipped when I level a character to 70. They cut the time in half.

You can only power level to 70 on T6. Once his character is at level 70 he should be able to join any GR you open.

Hope you have fun with it!

My favorite skill was corpse explosion when I leveled a Necro. But there are plenty of fun skills to try. The Necro is getting a new set in the upcoming patch which will be out in a month or so and there's a huge boost to corpse explosion I understand. Should be fun.

I think I spent the first two years playing on normal. I couldn't kill anything.

Good to know, thanks Orbert

But why is his approval rating going up? 49% approval rating? I don't understand.

Wow. That's really sad.

I guess being speedy in bounties is a good thing, but I really like to explore, do full clears, run rifts all the way to end. With teleport on demand I don't waste a lot of time running back down empty hallways or through large sparsely populated floors in order to explore all the side paths.

Have you used the Aether Walker with the Hydra Wiz? It's the only way I've been playing it lately. Super fast - that's the version I was referring to regarding bounty running.

Hey Orbert, I agree that Frenzy set is a fun set to run. Unfortunately, Blizz didn't make it as strong or as fast as the Whirly Barb so it's not getting the love it deserves. But it is fun to play and still strong and fast.

My go to bounty runner now though is my Wiz with the new Hydra set. All you need to find is an Aether Walker and it is da bomb for general rifting and bounties. The mobility is insane and it feels like the 2 frost hydras I use are like having 10 pets you can position to either kill or protect you as you stop to pick stuff up and look around. Fast or slow, it's my favorite build now for Torment rifts and bounties. Also very good HC.

Final thoughts on the new sets before the season starts:

Frenzy Barb: Not as powerful as the WW Barb at higher GR levels but should be an effective T16 rift and bounty runner this season. Fun play style, kills elites quickly, lot's of movement speed.

Spirit Barrage Witch Doctor: Very powerful for a WD and while it's a fun build to play, there is a  lot of 'sameness' in the play style to prior builds.

Hydra Wizard: Continues to grow on me and has perhaps become my favourite of the 3 builds. Unlike any previous Wiz build I've played, very fun to drop the 5 headed hydras and watch them destroy every thing nearby.

For whatever reason, Blizz isn't providing these through the Haedrigs Gift this season. Since I'm not crazy about the HG sets for this season I'm not sure yet what I'll start as but whichever, I'll soon migrate to the Wizard.

Not sure how much longer the game will hold my interest

I had read that the skill tree was far more in depth than that of D3. What are your thoughts on it? Why do you think you're losing interest so quickly? Is it too much like D3? Are there not several different character classes to develop? Small world size?

I was seriously considering trying Wolcen but if interest starts to sputter at 40-50 hours of game play, I'll probably not.
