My D2 and LoD codes are registered with my account so I recently reinstalled, though I didn't play more than 30 minuyltesbat the time. It's much slower moving early on than D3 and a lot of newer games.

Ugh. Didn't see that. It was pretty hard to read on the mobile... But I hate it when they do that.

Possible in-game items as part of a promotional treasure hunt.

Was the big announcement just the Switch thing? No D4 or anything like that?

We had our second child in July which has been taking up a lot of my time, that and I leveled a character to 20 in the WoW free trial to earn a Hearthstone reward.... Anyway, I started playing last week and got a boost to level 70 and now I'm just working my way through the Season Journey...

Good luck DAve. Hopefully still see you online at some point.

It works well for me because I can play when I have 10 minutes free. Plus I like CCG/TCG games having played Magic back in the day.

I have never played and I have several times thought about doing it.  No clue if I would enjoy this style of game.

Why not click my link and give it a try :-) We both get some free goodies in-game if you do.

Has anyone been considering starting Hearthstone? I know I started a thread about the game in the past, but not many people played.

Anyway, if you have been thinking about it and join using my recruit link we both get some freebies:

It's a card game based on World of Warcraft and a lot of fun.

I spend too much time on Facebook as it is.  But one thing I try to do is control my Friend list, because it can get out of hand.  So one of my purges years ago introduced a new rule that I have to actually know the person in real life.  I was making lots of online friends (including many from here, and various predecessors such as the SP subforum of wherever we used to be -- I don't even remember), and it felt weird seeing pictures of people's kids, them hanging out with their friends, talking about stuff, and I've never met any of the people involved.

I have nothing personally against anyone here (at least that I can think of) but Facebook for me is more personal.  I know that it's different for a lot of people.  For many, Internet friends are just as "real" as folks they grew up with or work with or anything else.  I probably interact more with "online only" friends than my buds from school or my family, who are scattered all over the country.  But rules are rules.   :P

I had a recent cull of people on my FB friends list and my criteria for not being deleted was "If I was passing through the city where [insert name lives] or vice versa I would want to and would make time to have a beer with said person". People who I wouldn't make time to have a beer with got deleted.

General Discussion / Re: Do you drive with one foot or two?
« on: March 17, 2018, 12:48:50 AM »
My first two cars were manual/stick shift so I drove with both feet. As Ray was saying if learn on a manual then you would operate the clutch with your left and accelerator/brake with the right. When you transition to automatic you continue to operate the accelerator/brake with the right and most automatic cars have a convenient footrest for the left foot :-)

Another observation about this season - there is literally no one in public games - or is it just because I haven't reached T13 yet?

There has been a bug since one of the recent patches. The result has been public
games were inadvertently capped at 2 players.  I don't know whether they
managed to fix it.

Wow. You would think they would try to prioritise fixing that. I bet having MP not functioning correctly would drive a lot of people away...
