The Season of the Necromancer
« on: July 06, 2017, 06:47:45 AM »
(That's what they called it)

Blizzard confirming what was previously known from previous announcements and PTR:
https://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/20845160

Here are the sets granted by Haedrig’s Gift in Season 11:

Barbarian – Wrath of the Wastes
Crusader – Roland’s Legacy
Demon Hunter – Unhallowed Essence
Monk – Raiment of a Thousand Storms
Necromancer – Bones of Rathma
Witch Doctor – Helltooth Harness
Wizard – Tal Rasha’s Elements

What will you play?

I actually intend to start as DH because of the conquests, but may use Necro as a second class.

I may play a monk just because I have not played one in awhile and I need to work on the healing achievement.  Probably will stay away from the necro.  There will be a ton of them out there.

Yeah, I can see non-Necros being the minority...

I think WD on EU, haven't got one on EU and its an easy class with helltooth.  Go mn4nu on the healing (finally) :P

Since I don't care where I will be on the leaderboard, I'll necro it all the way

Damn, I didn't even realise that they split things between regions in D3 :/. I made the char in EU; don't suppose there's a way for me to migrate him across?

Though I suppose that one lvl70 is no great loss if it comes down to it.

Unfortunately not, because that would require... ??? something too complicated obviously...

I think I'm the only regular poster playing exclusively in Europe, but I'm deep in ESO so might not play this D3 season. Matt and Tim holiday in EU when they run out of things to do on the US servers.

But if you play seasonal you'll be starting from scratch anyway, so the only things you'll lose are achievements and you won't have a pet to pick up gold until you find your first menagerist.

I'll probably give that a bash then. How is the lag connecting to the US from EU countries generally?

SZ, I'd just give it a go, see what its like.  Matt and I have got all our stash tabs on US, so EU is where the "challenge" is for us.  Since most of the existing EU people aren't on, and joined other clans, we joined this other group.  There seems to be a few hurdles to get in the door, but overall it sounds like a mature and active group.

I'm from New Zealand.  I get more lag on EU compared to US.  If I'm doing certain moves like Vault, I get some rubberbanding sometimes, but overall its quite playable.  I'll have to add you as a friend so we have the option to play (assuming times mix).   I won't go too hard this time.  I'm not overly excited and don't want to risk a full burnout.

Are you from US or EU? I'm now playing on EU as primary so if you add me in game (supermatt#2672) hopefully I'll see you online.

I play on both America and EU all the time as well, so please hit me up if you want some questionable company. Daveismyhero#1508, I think.
