Season 10 Progress Thread
« on: April 07, 2017, 04:55:25 AM »
I've only managed an hour or 2 so far this season, but have focused on EU where I managed to get a boost to level 70. I haven't yet managed to complete any chapters of the season journey, but will get there.

Playing a DH and planning to try out the improved Marauder and Shadow sets.

Due to ... things.

I haven't much started.  I installed it, almost opened it up, and then went. . . . . .

I think I spent about 30 minutes staring at the character creation screen.  I still sort of feel like I want to do take a crack at it, but, reached decision paralysis at trying to figure out what class to make.   Even after that, I'm not certain I want to spend another 3 weekends grinding on my own _-_;

I'm sure I'll figure it out sometime, or this season will pass me by :P

I am getting close to 300 paragon, so I've had a good amount of time in, not overwhelming though.  I like playing a witch doctor.  They are just so fun.

Yeah, I hit login and authentication issues yesterday morning, but managed to get on a bit last night.

Still just pushing on with public rifts for DBs and trying to craft a Dawn as that'll make the biggest difference for my toon right now. Although I did find both Yangs and a DML off a GR so I might try the Marauder Multishot variant.

Is it just me or is the new armory fairly useless? I thought (hoped) that it would actually store the gear getting it out of
your stash, but no, it just remembers the build. I change builds so infrequently that this "feature" is pointless to me.
I would really like to see a pet that would pick up what you designate it to pick up, like DB's instead of gold, that would be
cool.

Blizz must have REALLY buffed the damage done by those lightning tower things in the Pandemonium Fortress maps.  I noticed it a few times in the last week.  It can be deadly, like 1 shot deadly, so be careful hardcore players.  I actually look out for these things now.

It sort of reminds me how Burning Souls in D2 got an enormous damage buff in patch 1.10 back in the day.  Well, maybe it's not that bad, but it's pretty noticeable.

my initial reaction was "meh" but it's actually really nice if you're changing sets/builds with any frequency. getting that gear out of the stash would be even better, but what it currently does is pretty nice.

I'm continuing to press on with my progress on EU. I'm still missing quite a lot of gear, but managing to do low 40s GR and public T6/7 games.

I need to have another go at bounties since I'm out of the crafting Mats for extracting legendary powers now and none of the powers I've extracted are BiS cube items...

Strawberry is close to finishing Conqueror, but we still need another go at Boss
Mode at some point.  We tried last Friday, but have been playing very little this
week while having company over.

Was able to clear a GR 69 with the witch doctor, but it is tough sledding now.  I won't be able to do much more than 70 without some upgrades.  I am thinking of eventually switching over to a Jade Harvester build just to play something I haven't done in a long time.

I mentioned hating Class Dungeons and someone mentioned that the Invoker (Crusader Thorns) one was pretty easy.  I haven't done a Crusader in a while, so I Rebirthed Michelle and off she went.  The Haedrig's Gift set is Akkhan's Whatever, but I've collected four pieces of Invoker so far.  Meanwhile, she's up to 130 or so Paragon Points and runs T6, GRift 27.  She could probably go much higher if I were any good at this build.

I managed to find a Dawn at last, so expect thats going to be a big help. I've also switched to UE because I wasn't feeling Marauder and haven't completed the shadow set yet. Still missing the recommended jewellry for any of the builds but a Restraint will make my UE stronger. Still need both the Endless Walk pieces before I can fully rock Shadow.

Up to GR~50 now and that was pre-Dawn.
