$50 000 question, who do you visit first?

I spend too much time on Facebook as it is.  But one thing I try to do is control my Friend list, because it can get out of hand.  So one of my purges years ago introduced a new rule that I have to actually know the person in real life.  I was making lots of online friends (including many from here, and various predecessors such as the SP subforum of wherever we used to be -- I don't even remember), and it felt weird seeing pictures of people's kids, them hanging out with their friends, talking about stuff, and I've never met any of the people involved.

I have nothing personally against anyone here (at least that I can think of) but Facebook for me is more personal.  I know that it's different for a lot of people.  For many, Internet friends are just as "real" as folks they grew up with or work with or anything else.  I probably interact more with "online only" friends than my buds from school or my family, who are scattered all over the country.  But rules are rules.   :P

I think the answer is obvious.  Get a $50000 loan, get on a plane, and go visit a bunch of us.  Make sure your passport is update too.

Sometimes I find the forum better for seeing content you want to see and not being exposed to all the sundry stuff

Mixture of things, you can see them on Facebook at least, not sure what other things they do on the internet.

Diablo 3 / Re: Season 12
« on: February 11, 2018, 05:38:14 PM »
I've lost all motivation to play the last few days, so the end of this season can't come soon enough. I'm not looking forward to the gear clean up/clear out after the season - I need more stash tabs!
This describes me as well.  I haven't played for over a week, except to do the challenge rift.

I'm similar.  Matt bought me the Necro, (thanks buddy!).  I had a HC die, that was annoying, I got up to around chapter 5 and the first grind .. and motivation was a bit low.  I did the SC run of the campaign for achievements.  I have a few others I can get but haven't really got that spark.

I do need to get the necro sets.  Perhaps once the season ends and the gear mixes I can easily gear the necro.

Other games  have been taking gaming time.

Btw, never tried a challenge rift yet, are they fun?

Tal's armour is awesome, its 2nd to top TC, so rarer to drop.  It has lots of good benefits and the rest of the set isn't too hard to drop except the ammy.  IK Maul drops as often as Tyreals in D3!  I use them for Iron Golems in D2 :D

Bartucs is great for the middle stages of any sin!  Keep it up!

Anyone else notice it took a super blue blood moon to bring Liq back out of hiding?

No. There are no "real issues" to overlook, unlike Trump. And unlike Trump, Brady really is the best at what he does.
FYI this is what I read

I'd read a a few things about the TB12 thing which seemed like its exploiting people who want results but are a bit thick and don't have the same genes.

The record books show success, but was it done in the best way?  Some sports have gone back and taken away championships for various reasons, or if things were dodgy everywhere, not shown a winner some years.

As a non nfl person, is Brady/pats the football version of trump? I mean loved by their fans/base whoever they overlook any of the real issues. Everyone else hates them?

Amnesia collection free from Humble Bundle.  I'll slowly get to 1000 games on steam this way!

Nostalgia is a big thing, don't be sad.  I'm not sure what will come out in this year, or what I'll be able to run

Really enjoying plantera, one of those idle clicker games.  I can let them work for up to 13 hours, i get my money, reinvest and close it.  It won't take too much more effort to get all the achievements, and its fun to click on the critters and collect loot.
