Well, I was gifted the base version. So I'll have to buy the season pass and croft upgrade stuff separately.

Finally got round to buying Rise of the Tomb Raider.  I might even play it at some point.

I hope you have fun.  Visually the game is gorgeous.  I really enjoyed playing it.  I will probably play through the game one more time before the release of the new one.

Iím part way through my second play through on the toughest difficulty. Itís worth a 2nd go through. If you die you respawn at last campfire on this difficulty. That can be a bit frustrating if you falll in spikes but I donít mind.

Currently Iím in hospital, just had some more surgery so wonít be gaming for a bit.

Well you can buy Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Croft Edition at newegg for 74 bucks.

Best deal for the game that I have seen.  So I pulled the trigger.  The last time I pre-ordered a game it was a disaster.  Here's to hoping that SoTR lives up to the billing.

We are under a month before this game comes out and there is tons of news out there about the game.  I have been avoiding it like the plague but I still managed to pick up some useful bits.

The most interesting one, for me, is that there are separate difficulty levels for puzzles, questing, and fighting.  So if you are interested in the puzzles and questing you can set those to hard and combat to easy and have at it.  I have been debating what level to set mine at for my first play through.  I imagine that I will eventually play through at the toughest setting.  I might just start off on hard across the board.  I believe there is one level higher than that.  Though I might have to play through with the questing at a lower setting the first time as it can be tricky to figure out where to go next on a first play through.

A bit annoyed that they haven't release the game codes yet.  I bought mine at NewEgg and I hope they don't wait until the last minute to send me my code.

If you bought it at Newegg, or GMG, or such, and it's a Steam key, you are very likely not getting your key until day of release.

WooT!

NewEgg sent me the code! :D

I'll be getting this set up tonight.  I hope I can pre-install it before Wednesday.

Can't wait.

Well the game unlocks today for me.  Sadly I am at work.  Even more sad is that I have to work at my son's water polo match tonight.  I will try to at least start the game at some point today.

Woo Hoo...for me the party has started.  I am in the first chapter and so far it is very interesting.  I think the cut scenes are straining my video card which is annoying.  I am seeing so tearing.  But over all I am very happy with the game so far.  I am playing on Hard/Hard/Hard right now.  I figure I can always dial things back if it gets too crazy.

Still trying to figure out how the leveling works.  Right now it seems that it is more automatic, but maybe I just need to reach my first campsite.  Funny that I haven't found one yet.

And pretty. I do not regret buying a 1080 at all now.
