Evil urns are so pretty.

I was wondering about the Gifts.  Is there one that is more suitable for HC?  I am leaning towards doing a Wiz.  As I have never gotten one to 70 before.

I ran a HC wizard last season and was able to hit the leaderboards early and often. I think I safely hit a 73 near the end without really focusing on pushing. Tal Rasha is very tanky once you have the jewelry, but apparently Vyr's is the starter set.

WD is also a very safe choice, due to all the minions that act as cannon fodder for you. IK for barbs is also a safe bet, since you get permanent immortals to keep you company.

Anybody have any HC advice for this patch?

If you are starting at level 1, make sure you know when your near death passive unlocks, and use it as soon as it is available. Make sure you roll vit on some items where you would normally go for CHC/CHD/AS, etc. Don't do it everywhere, of course, but at least take a cursory glance at vit and life so you have some toughness. If you aren't playing as in Int character, go with diamonds in your chest and pants as needed.

And never ever ever touch the evil urns!  :P

As usual, folks, please please please feel free to invite me to your games next season. I'm hoping to have DPS and support options, so you have that going for you.  :-*

I'm going to go away from my usual plan of starting with a DH, and I'll be rolling a monk initially on PC. I had a lot of fun as a WoL monk at the end of season 15, and I'm interested to see how the WoL build works with the buffed Inna's set. My goal will be to get to GR70 as fast as possible, so I can be showered with primal drops. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

No idea what I'll start with on the Switch.

It sounds like you may be able to level up the fastest within the Darkening of Tristram event. Has anyone heard anything similar?

I just love reading these old Computer Gaming World magazines. Reading a letter to the editor that states 48k ram gams are clearly superior to 16k ram games due to variability and enhanced AI, and which that the Apple 2 is better than the Atari 400. It's so interesting to me to see how far we've come.

Man, I loved CGW. I think I have a stash of those in a box somewhere, and I'm hoping to discover them during the big move later this year.

As for gaming, I'm sporadically playing D3 on the PC and Switch, and I'm trying to learn Civ6 on the Switch. I'm also looking forward to getting destroyed by my son when Smash launches tomorrow.

I'm off to a pretty good start and passed a GR71 with my DH. So please hit me up if you need any assistance with anything!

I'm going to play a SC Necro in Europe. My buddy is still trying to get his tabs.

Please drop me a friend request on Europe if you get the chance. I'm going to try to be more active there this season. Thanks!

I'm hoping to be around once the season launches, probably dragging Fett around. Please feel free to join me/us if you are interested.

I'll even accept noobs like Sssithly.  ;)

I have been having a blast with West of Loathing on the ol' Switch as of late.

That'll probably keep me occupied until S14 of D3 fires up on Friday.

Thanks! I'm not sure how much I'll play either, but maybe some additional friends will help a little. :D

Hello all,

I don't know that is really worth a topic, but I wanted to give you a heads-up that I'm heading to a different clan for S14. I would still love to MP with any of you fine folks that fire up some S14 characters, so please don't be shy if you want a little sketchy company.  ;)

I'm not disgruntled or anything, but just looking for some potential additional MP options. But again, please hit me up if you need a basement dweller in tow.

Happy hunting and I'll see you online! :D

Uh... thanks?   ;D

Anyway, most of you probably already got an email, but I just got one from Blizzard announcing that Season 13 will end on June 3.

Actually, the email itself was to remind everyone to get the new pet, Blaine's Bear, who looks just like the other teddy bear except with different colors/markings.  But he's pretty cool.  I think it's hilarious watching the teddy bears running to keep up with you on their short little legs.

Hallelujah! I think I'm the only one carrying the banner at this point. It's lonely in Tristram!  ;)

This week's challenge rift on the Americas server is probably the easiest one Blizzard has ever put out there, so it's a great opportunity to get the reward.  It's worth spending 5 minutes of your time on it.

Thanks for mentioning that! I haven't played much D3 lately, but I ran through that one easily. Cheers!

Completing some full act bounties for the caches is good around level 21, since that's when the Cain and Born sets can drop. Those kick up your XP quickly, which is always good.
