That CarBot animations D2 youtube videos have got me excited about the game and actually playing again!  I've got a few characters to beat normal Diablo, some taking a heck of a lot of time. 

Currently taking some untwinked characters in 1.08 through normal act2.  Its slow going but fun getting levels, picking up rares, locking in those waypoints!

Only 15 characters left in it now.
9 in act 2 normal.
3 in act 3 normal.
3 in act 4 normal.

They cover patches 1.02, 1.06, 1.07 and 1.08.

The 1.07 are the strongest as they have had hand me down gear available!  At this rate I might be out of Act 2 by Christmas!

If you find a Sur and an Ohm in .08, I would be very interested in showering you with riches in a later patch...

I continue to consider getting back into D2, but I think the learning curve would be too great. We'll have to see how bored I get with D3.

Well the 1.07 assy with her sigon set was strong enough for act 3,4 and 5.  Getting 8 levels ups from the normal ancients was cool.

Got 3 greens and a gold at Baal!

Absolutely. I want to play some D2, but it takes too much dicking around to get a decent resolution.

Baal has never been good to me for drops. You ought to drag everyone along to the same place per version and then move on.

You can just have it open in a window by using - w on the shortcut or use a older computer and/or monitor.

Well not quite out of act 2 by Christmas .. but had some progress recently
5 in act 2 normal.
4 in act 3 normal.
4 in act 4 normal.

Currently doing 2-3 hours each night.  I've found spending some time on each is helping so I'm not trying to think "what gear have you got? what skills do you have? and what are the quirks of this patch?

1.02 has 1 to go
1.07 has 1 to go
1.06 has 4 to go
1.08 has all 7.

Does anyone remember that before level 25 its best to kill monsters around your level or you get almost no experience? Its much smoother after 25.

1.09 has one in progress. 1.14 has a LOT in progress. Just in nm or hell
