what, like Merkel saying that the EU can no longer count on the US? or that trump refuses to affirm NATO article 5 (the part that says an attack on one is an attack on all, the part that drew everyone to our defense after 9/11)? or the part about trump planning to withdraw from the paris climate agreement? meh, that's serious stuff that might actually require a few brain cells to rub together. way too hard. and, BOOOORING......

i agree with you completely. the dipshit tweets certainly distract. i can't wait until this ******* is history.

The covfefe B.S. is only a story because Spicer came out and said that the people who matter know what it meant.

If he said, "Oh, lol, it was just an obvious typo and he meant to say 'coverage ' but didn't realize it before hitting submit" then there would be no story. He made this into something it never should've gotten to, and he only has himself to blame.

We don't hate all Americans, but as seen in this thread the administration isn't popular outside of places that voted for trump.

Lol @ this "US media travelling with Tillerson were surprised by the number of people flipping the bird at Tillerson as his motorcade sped through town."

Maybe we need to ban all white males from entering into Florida now

Maybe we ban them from all states. Wasn't it the angry white male vote that the idiot elected?

Partly. Partly it was millenials who couldn't be bothered and/or voted 3rd party because (to quote my kid and all his friends, for example) "I don't like either of the other two choices." Oh, and all the Green people that protest voted for Jill Stein... hope they're fucking happy with their choice now.

ROFL

from CNN:
Quote
It's almost 9pm and WH still cannot say whether POTUS has confidence in his Attorney General. "No updates," a WH official said.

I think point I think White House Staffers are so terrified of Trump going off script or changing his mind that I think you might well get the same answer if you asked Sean Spicer about whether Trump has confidence in him.

In fact, I think it would legitimately hilarious if the press just spent an entire briefing going through all Trump appointees and asking Spicer whether Donald Trump had confidence in them.

it's sessions' turn in an open hearing today.

and then there's this, which expands a bit on the intercept story last week.

edit: also, trial balloon put out there for possibility of trump firing mueller. seems to be getting a a sour reaction, if you ignore the crazies.

Let's not forget the voter suppression in key states.  https://www.thenation.com/article/the-gops-attack-on-voting-rights-was-the-most-under-covered-story-of-2016/

Or blame millenials and let the GOP off the hook for that.

I think we can agree there were a number of factors at play.
