Single player loading times are pretty awful for me, and my PC isn't that old (Ryzen 5 2600, AMD 5700).

I tried some Pindle runs and it was just too painful.

However I have started fresh so I am not switching back to old D2 for MF or bringing any items forward. I will probably just MF differently Pit runs, WSK/Baal runs etc. Although I'm not grailing.

I'm keen for D2R but will be playing SP I imagine

I will watch and probably enjoy, but like the others said, 2 and 3 did not live up to the standard set by the first movie. They should have stopped at 1

Regardless of MF-ability, what are some builds that can solo hell without godly gear?

Bowazon - probably with strafe, multi a bit mana heavy, elemental attack for PIs
Barb - WW, Conc, zerk might be slow with bad gear though
Paladin  - Zeal again might be slow but can do it, Hammerdin would be stronger
Sorc - cold+fire as Drozz mentioned, I like Fireball+Blizzard but Orb/Meteor is good too

Definitely NOT shapeshifter druid, they suck in Hell without good gear in my experience, Wind druid meant to work though

I'm starting 100% anew and will start with finishing the game with each character and go from there :)

Finished the seasonal journey with my necro. Ended up with an LOD Mages build that was fairly strong with an ethereal weapon. Did Years of War for my 3rd conquest as it doesn't require luck, just have to play/grind a bit.

They definitely need to make the journey longer or more difficult though, as much as I enjoy the seasons, they're getting shorter and shorter for me, and I don't really play all that much. I guess if you care about the leaderboards it might be different, but for me once the journey is done, the season is over.

I will probably switch to D2R when its fully released.

If I have a spare Ring of Royal Grandeur, I give it to my follower so they can wear two pieces of Sage's set and two pieces of Cain's (chance for extra Greater Rift keystone) and get the three-piece bonuses of each.  Gloves of Worship, Flavor of Time, Nemesis Bracers, and Occulus Ring all emanate, so I add them as well.

It seems like they wanted to up power creep into a full power walk with the emanation stuff.  Basically more ways to get more powers on your characters.  And with Ethereal items coming in the next patch, that's confirmed.  More Power!

Nice I like the Cains idea

They definitely need to increase the seasonal journey difficulty, all the power creep is making it too easy

Do it!
I gotta say, I really dug the emanate (sp?) system for followers. Is there a suggested list of items to use on followers on GRs? Any of you fine people know?

Most of the build guides don't list follower equipment, I think they tend to assume multiplayer.

My followers always use Sages set (double Death's Breath), Nemesis Bracers, Broken Crown and Flavour of Time.

I played some non-seasonal while i was away for work, mainly revisting my WW Barb as I havent played it since Ambos Pride was introduced. Definitely stronger with ambos and lamentation!

Didn't find much of note, exept Primal Mortick's Brace, which was a very welcome find, it even came with the Sright elemental%, STR, VIT and resists, exactly what I wanted.

Other than that I was levelling legendary gems and trying different rings/ammy and legendary gems. Decided on CoE, Band of Might and Hellfire ammy, since Flavor of Time emanates now.

Hope next season makes the Journey a bit lengthier, so much time inbetween with how quick they go now.

chains of hono(u)r on your merc!  Many of those attributes would be very handy

+2 To All Skills
+200% Damage To Demons
+100% Damage To Undead
8% Life Stolen Per Hit
+70% Enhanced Defense
+20 To Strength
Replenish Life +7
All Resistances +65
Damage Reduced By 8%
25% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items

I made this back on the day and enjoyed using it quite a lot on my characters, very versatile

Well hello there everyone. News of D2R managed to lure me back.

That's a name I haven't seen for some time, welcome back!

Rune stacking is a great idea. Any crafting materials should be stackable!

Incorporating the most popular mods from D2 also a good idea, such as Red Rune Mod...and...I forget what else...oh Ladder runewords!

I never found one of those fuckers.  Never understood how it was the basis of the economy.

I think it was because of the shear amount of dupes that were floating around...?
I didn't play much BNET back in the day, but I remember they were way more common than in single player  ;D

I finally finished Mark of the Ninja on New Game Plus, with 100% achievements, all unlocks, and 100% completion on each level.

It's a really great platformer that I thoroughly enjoyed, and I don't typically like platformers. Something about the combination of stealth, light puzzle solving (guards/traps/detection), level objectives and killing just tickles my fancy.

There's also costume unlocks that alter the mechanics of your character so you can play differently, ie more stealth oriented or more combat oriented. You can also unlock and choose your loadout of different distraction and attack items and really customise how you want to approach a level.

Just wish there were more levels, or a sequel.

Now I am going to play a "No Kills" playthrough, which I am fairly sure is doable, for the most part.

Also picked up Dirt 4 on a whim for like $3 because I felt like playing a rally game, and it is quite good. Decent range of cars and career events, as well as I guess you would call it procedural generation for the A to B tracks that you drive solo. The events with laps are on set race tracks though and are quite fun.

Well, I am all done with the season.

Finished off with Boss Mode conquest and the T13 Rift in 4 min one this morning.

Overall this season felt very brief. Either I am getting quicker at doing the journey or power creep is making it need less grind to achieve.

Lacuni Cub is a cute pet though :)
