Outer Worlds is deceptive. It's amazing at first, and I probably praised it highly for a while. But after you get 15ish hours in, the incredible shallowness of it all hits you in the face hard. Virtually every person I know who played it long enough hit the same point. I know of few who finished the game, and most of those folks only did so out of stubbornness.
Now some people did love it fairly though. It definitely has its audience and fans.
New Vegas, well. Obsidian can write. What they can't do is make an open-world game feel anything but empty. They don't have Bethesda's talent for environmental storytelling and making it feel lived in. When they stick to focused stuff (see: Pillars of Eternity, Tyranny), they're better.
Grounded is basically Honey I Shrunk the Kids as a coop survival sim. CAN NOT WAIT.
