DivOS2 is one of the (if not THE) best party-based RPG I've ever played. And Larian does good work. So, I have faith they'd do a good job with BG3.

... I just realized that I assumed you meant "Divinity: Original Sin 2" and not "Divinity 2", so I'll leave my post. If you meant Divinity 2, well, that was good but it was not party-based and was a whole different ball of wax from a Baldur's Gate game.

Surprising Beamdog wouldn't be doing this. Of course, after how awful Siege of Dragonwhatever was, that's not too surprising I guess.

Oh don't get me wrong I agree. I'm just surprised, as deep as they are into it, especially having done 1.5 and having some of the original talent.

Will add DivOS2 to my "to play" list.

I'm intrigued as to where the story of BG3 will go, given BG2 ToB wrapped the Baalspawn story arc nicely.

Is coming Early Access in August.  I generally avoid early access and my gut is telling me to do it with this game.  Though I might ignore that so I can get a hold of this game and start building my characters.

So BeamDog games are on sale in Steam.  Has anyone played the Bladur's Gate 2: Enhanced game?  I am debating getting it.

I own it but I don't think I ever got more than like, 30 minutes into it. I think if you want to basically replay BG2 and tickle a nostalgia bone, it's a fair way to do it.

I never finished BG1 and never played BG2 at all. I believe I picked up D2 and Baldur's Gate at around the same time and we all know how that turned out.  I should probably rectify this.
