A lot of forums are not public and you cant see the content until you register and login.
Should GO be like this?
Do people have strong feeling on the matter? I probably lean towards invisibility until logged in.

I dunno. I'm a believe of "if you wanna read our member's shit or post here, join here", but it's not an overwhelmingly strong feeling. Just a preference.

I thought old GO had it about right - Banshee's Wail and game boards visible publicly (before joining people might want some idea of the style), others that might be more controversial only seen by members. But overall I agree with narsica and syn.

I strongly believe that forums should be invisible unless logged in - mostly. It keeps bots from eating the info there for one thing. Plus, privacy - such that it is.
The old forums were fine, I think.
