Just the boots?

I had a long disgusting diatribe written that I refrained from posting.  This response is the PG equivalent of that.  Nicely done.

You can get a showcase where you CHOOSE the achievements you want to show off.  The "rare" ones aren't the best depending which games you might play and the overall community.

Good to know.  I had no clue that there was a benefit to leveling up your steam profile and that sounds like a nice showcase to use.

As Tim noted I am playing BL2 again.    Going with Maya because she is hot.  Just kidding, in an FPS it really doesn't matter. :p  I just had the itch to play the game again.  Not sure how far I will get.

BTW that link you gave me with the ability to look at Steam achievements organized in different ways was pretty interesting.  Not sure how they figure some of those rankings out.

I blame Tim.

He goaded me to play Rise of the Tomb Raider in Extreme Survivor Mode.  Just finished it.  Don't do it, not that I am really worried that you would.  The game play was a bit tougher than Survivor Mode.  The annoying thing is that if you die you go back to your last campfire.  For the most part this is not that big of a deal.  There are a couple points though were you have a long quest, followed by a battle, followed by hard jumping or quick time events.  It is the last thing that is miserable.  Screw that up and you have to go back to the beginning are do the whole thing again.  The biggest pain as the final battle which ends with some quick time events against the boss Konstantine.  I did that several times.  I got really good at defeating the helicopter.

Well I am done with Tomb Raider until the next one comes out in September.  Can't wait for that one.

Oh...another annoying side affect is that my Steam Profile was using the rare achievement display.  It would showcase the rarest achievements that you have done.  Because I did this all my achievements that are showing up there are for Rise of the Tomb Raider.  For what it is worth, the only 0.7% of players have the Extreme Survivor Mode achievement.  Gone are the other fun ones I had, like Zombie Chopper from HL2.  Ah well.  I need a new showcase (again, not that anyone ever looks at those things).

Wow...England did not get it done.  Croatia as a whole out played them.  They also played dirtier in the beginning but they settled down and were much more cohesive in the attack than England.

Good for Croatia.

As a Colombia fan I am still upset at the lost opportunity.

France vs Croatia in the finals.  France is not a surprise and Croatia was considered a dark horse at the beginning of the tournament.

Time to get on the Team Cro band wagon.  Though honestly I won't be too upset if France wins.  They have been playing very well.

And the red devils are done.  Ah well.  France is playing really well.  Good balance, they are going to be tough to beat.  I don't think Croatia would stand a chance against them.  England could.

Screw Trump, Screw Putin, good riddance to Russia.  They got this far because they were given the easiest group.  They they beat Spain which I was ok with but they did it mainly by bunkering down.  Glad Croatia beat them.

All the teams left are playing well and I won't be upset if they win.  Croatia is probably the worse team left at this point.

Two really good games today.  Uruguay was, unfortunately, without out a main player and it showed.  While they threatened a bunch, they couldn't get a goal in without him.  I personally am glad to see Suarez out of the tournament, I hope this is the last time I have to see him in the WC.

Brazil vs Belgium was awesome.  Great game, with a lot of good attacks and scoring.  Not sure that the best team won as Brazil was really good and Belgium had some tremendous saves to keep them in the game.  Kudos to Belgium for pulling it out.

I don't expect tomorrow's games to be as good.  Russia plays an ugly game, mainly because they are not that good.  Sweden is a good team, but they don't play a fun game.  I expect Croatia and England to move on tomorrow.

My brother and nephew and niece are English citizens.  So I guess so.  That and they have so many Tottenham players and that is my favorite team.

I would love to see a Belgium vs England Final.

Damn.  :(

England deserved to move on based on how dirty Colombia played in the first half.  Colombia played so much better when they cut the ugly shit out.

Of course Colombia's best player was out because of injury.  Two World Cups in a row where Colombia was missing their best player.

Ah well.  On to the Quarter Finals.

My prediction is France, Brazil, Croatia, England win in that round.

I hope that Belgium beats Brazil.

Good luck with the house sale.

21 going on 18...lol.

That seems like an accurate description for teens at times.

Starts in three hours.   :o Nervous.

On this side of the bracket England, Croatia, and Colombia are the strongest teams left.  Whomever wins this game has a great shot at getting to the final.  Though neither the Swedes/Swiss are going to be pushovers.

Fun stuff.

Hats off to Japan for being epic.  They had Belgium on the ropes before Belgium got it shit together.  They had no business being in this game yet they went up 2-0.  Hopefully Belgium learns something from this a plays better in the next game.  Much awesomeness.
