I ran a GR 45 without any Set Items, got the Conquest (first try!), so now I have to get the five-minute T13 Rift.  Blew through one as fast as I could, didn't stop to pick anything up, but since it was a Nephalem Rift, it wasn't really "over" once I'd killed the Rift Guardian.  I couldn't cast a Town Portal to get back and see Orek until I either killed all the monsters nearby or ran far enough away to cast one, so that cost me at least another 30 seconds.  I didn't get the Achievement, but I have no idea how close I was.  I think I'll try a few more times, maybe set a timer on my phone or something to see what my time is.

Crap, maybe that's where the problem is.  I assumed that the five-minute timer ended when the Rift Guardian was dead, the same as with Greater Rifts.  I've been taking my time going back and picking up Death's Breaths and Shinies, because I know that once I visit Orek, there won't be enough time.

Running a T13 Nephalem Rift in five minutes is proving to be a pain in the ass.  Is there any way to tell how long it took (besides the obvious, setting a timer or something)?  I run and think I get through it pretty quickly, but obviously it's still taking more than five minutes; I'd just like to know how close I'm getting.  If I'm still like two or three minutes over, I'll just forget about it for now.  If I can't do that, then there's no point in going for the second Conquest.

Yeah, but then I'd have to work a DH all the way up.  Any word how much time is left in this season?

Ah yes, that was the other one.  I might try it.  Thanks for the tip!

I finally mastered the Jade Set Dungeon.  Yeah yeah, I know, everybody says it's one of the easiest ones.  The problem is that I just don't like Locust Swarm and thus have never really learned to use it.  I caved and consulted some online guides.  Eventually I turned a pretty bad failure into a victory so go me.

Ran a GR 75 for the Conquest, which was cool, so now I'm on whatever level they call it where you can get the Stash Tab.  Haven't gotten that far in a while, mostly because I hate Set Dungeons, but hey I was bored.  I need to finish a T13 rift in five minutes and finish a second Conquest.  Egads.  I'm thinking I can eventually get the T13 Rift, and for the second Conquest, I was thinking of the one where you kill 350 enemies in a Cursed Chest event, but I don't remember now if there's a difficulty requirement.  That may be an issue.  But there's no way I'm mastering eight Set Dungeons, so there aren't a lot of options at this point.

I wasn't involved, but I would love to be.  I think it's a good show.  And yeah, if I were writing a Trek-like show, this would be it.

People keep talking about Family Guy, they wondered if it was gonna be like Family Guy in Space, they didn't know if they'd like it because they don't like Family Guy, they were disappointed that it wasn't like Family Guy, they were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't like Family Guy...  At least half of what I've read regarding the show brings up Family Guy in one way or another.  Fuck Family Guy!  I've never watched Family Guy because what little I've seen looks stupid.  I watch The Orville because it's like Star Trek TNG only with real people.

It's been renewed for a second season, but there's still one episode from Season 1 that they haven't aired yet, so we're gonna get that episode kicking off Season 2, then the rest.  I hate it when they do that, because there's usually an obvious shift in tone and often casting changes between the first and second season of a show.  So now that the show has found its audience and found its feet, they screw it over by cutting the first season short, setting up a drop in audience of about 50%, and then will cancel it because of low ratings.

Got mine this morning.  It was a nice surprise, I guess, but it looks a little weird with a StarCraft ship flying around picking up your gold in Sanctuary.  But it's another pet, so yay!

I always have both feet with me, but I only use one to drive.  But I make up for that by using my hands, too.

It's wasn't that bad.  It really was fun.  This was before she had the whole set and was still playing at T1, so it definitely could have been more hairy.

I've run into a couple Yellow Dudes at once, multiple Champion packs, and various combinations totalling three, but I don't think I've ever stumbled into four Yellow Dudes at once before.  Well, "stumbled" isn't quite the word, as I was Vortexed or Wormholed (I still don't know the difference) into the middle of them.  Very exciting.

But in the end, I was triumphant!  Even leveled somewhere in there.

My Witch Doctor found the Jade chest armor, then gambled the pants, so she finished the set before getting Haedrig's third Gift.  That was cool.  Also got a RoRG from doing Act I Bounties, so she's got some options.

Mrs. Orbert and I were out of town over the weekend, but got back Sunday, and by Sunday evening it was time for some D3 Multi.

Something we've never done before was start Seasonal characters at the same time and play them MP.  After reviewing the Season 13 news stuff, most importantly what Sets were being given out this time, she decided on Crusader, and I picked a Witch Doctor.  This was another change-up for us, since she typically prefers ranged characters.  Most recently, she's played a DH and a Wizard, so I joined her with my Barb and played the tank for her.

I was used to being the tank and running forward into the fray and attacking stuff, so I had to keep reminding myself to let her Crusader tank and I provide support via Haunt and Grasp of the Dead and stuff.  She kept dying, which was annoying, and eventually I figured out that it's not the characters/roles; it's that she's just not as good at D3 as I am.  No surprise, since she's only been at it a few months.  Her reflexes aren't as good, her ability to manage multiple skills and all that is just lower.  So fine, we resumed our "regular" roles of me charging forward and attacking things, and she learned how to play a Crusader.

One thing I found rather interesting was that we started off leveling at exactly the same time (makes sense as all XP was evenly split), but when she died and I kept killing, I'd of course get ahead of her.  I never got more than 1 level higher than her, though, and after resurrecting, she'd be back and soon we were in sync again.  The game kept distributing XP such that she would catch up with me within a level or so.

Playing at Torment I, we got to Level 26 in a few hours, and I was ready to crash.  Had to work Monday morning.  She played solo a while, which is fine.  I told her to play around with the skills, figure out which ones she likes best and all that.  She likes the horses.  What is it with women and horses?  I think all women like horses.  Anyway, I played my Witch Doctor solo last night and got her to Level 70 and beyond.  I think she's got 20 Paragon points or so.  Hopefully I'll finish Chapter 2 tonight and start getting some fun gear.

Nice!  I gotta try a Monkey King build again sometime.  Last time I tried it, I couldn't figure out how it's supposed to work, especially Sweeping Wind, so I switched to something else.
