Diablo (now with Diablo 4 Hype) / Re: So I fired up D2 again

I might have a second set of keys, somewhere. If you are interested I could take a look for them.

I was going to roll a Barb this season, but with the Lamentation belt losing it's damage boost, I'm not sure. I may go with Sader though, because that new set looks fun. They released the final patch notes, and the sets changed a little bit - a couple buffs and mechanics changes, but they both look pretty interesting.

I had both a primal Wojhanni and a primal Sin Seekers.... Before the quiver got the % damage to rapid fire added to it... That would've been perfect to play with!

I might try to make a Rapid Fire build until the next season starts. It looks fun, and I've got enough non-seasonal mats to get most of your gear together. You've inspired me, Orbert!

You'll have better luck with a cubed Wojhanni, and equipping a Dawn. Since it isn't using resource, you'll want it to hit as fast as possible. The Rapid Fire DH is actually quite good now, and it's something I've wanted to build too!

I don't know who else watched the opening ceremony of BlizzCon, but  Diablo 4 was announced with a cinematic trailer and a gameplay trailer! There's even a playable demo at BlizzCon!

They announced "the first 3" playable characters - Barbarian, Sorceress and Druid! The game looks more like D2, but with the fluid combat of D3. It's much darker and Gothic looking.

I'm wicked hyped for this!!

I finished my first playthrough last night. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, and will definitely play through again, and do other characters. I was a fan of Amara, her elemental skills were quite powerful.

The twins were ok as antagonists. I didn't really care for Tyreen, but I did like Troy more. I feel like the story was a little underwhelming, but that might just be because I kinda rushed through the end of it. I'll take my time going through TVHM and hit more side quests this time.

I got up to level 32 last night, and have been skipping a lot of side quests. I feel like I'm getting close to the end of the main story but I don't really know. I'm having a lot of fun though! I'll probably go back and do the side quests after, and before starting TVHM.

That's awesome - and I love the D2 reference!

I decided to start a new character, after not really enjoying Moze initially. I decided to go with Amara, and am having a good time of it. I got to level 14 yesterday, and have progressed further than I did with Moze. I've been mainly using the Brawl skill tree, but I think I'm going to swap over to the elemental tree soon, as I'm finally getting some decent weapons with elemental damage on them.

I'm definitely enjoying the game - just wish I had more time to play it!

That could've been a really....shitty....situation. Most newer phone can withstand a quick bath in water, so you might be ok.

I went swimming once and forgot to take my phone out of my pocket before. On the last day of a vacation. Before I could backup the pictures I took all week.

Hopefully it isn't dead!

I don't know if I'm just imagining this or not, but enemies definitely feel more like bullet sponges than BL2. It feels like the heavy gunners just take ages to kill, and even regular enemies are taking entire clips of ammo to kill. I'll have a pack of guys around me, get in Iron Bear, and can only kill 4-5 normal enemies before my fuel runs out and I have to wait another 2 minutes for my cooldown.

I'm hoping to have a friend come over this weekend for some couch co-op. It should be good times! I like how the game scales so lower level characters can still play and find gear that's on level for them.

The only "problem" I've had has been some menus being a little slow to pull up initially, but it's not horrible. Only a couple seconds of delay on the first time loading up a menu.

I'm enjoying the game so far. It took a little bit to get used to aiming down sight, for some reason I was struggling to get the crosshairs on target.

I've gotten Moze to level 11, mainly going with the Bottomless Mags tree for now. I really wish the mech had longer uptime - getting a few seconds of use with a huge cool down kinda sucks.

I'm definitely enjoying the new physics in the game - having a psycho jump towards you and catching him with a shotgun blast that launches him back 20 feet is quite satisfying.

I didn't have time to pick the game up last night, but I'm grabbing it today after work. Very excited to play! I have the weekend off, but may not get a ton of time during the day - darn kids!! I'll probably get 5-10 hours in this weekend after they're in bed, so that's nice!
