I'm pretty burnt out on BL3 right now. Mayhem 2.0 kind of put the final nail in the coffin for me. The complete bullet-sponge aspect of Mayhem 8+ just isn't fun for me, nor is farming for countless hours to find the perfect rolled item with the right parts, the right element and right annointment. I am excited for DLC3 and the Eridian Takedown event, so I'll be back playing when that drops. I'm definitely looking forward to the major rework on the higher Mayhem levels and gun damage.

Until then, I'm going to go play The Pre-Sequel. I'm playing as Timothy the Doppelganger, and just got to Concordia. I'm level 6 or 7 currently. My only goal for this game is to play through the main story, and through the Claptrap DLC. Hopefully it's a good time!

I got my Zane to 57 and beat the main story of DLC2 - I enjoyed it, and there are some crazy powerful items in this new DLC. I heard the side quests are excellent, so I'm probably going to start a new Moze and do all the side quests. They added an option to start with a pre-leveled character like the Lilith DLC added). My current Moze was only in the teens, so that'll help some of the early grinding, hopefully.

New York has basically said to stay home unless you work in an essential business. Car sales isn't essential, so I'm officially not working until further notice. They didn't tell us if we're still getting paid, but did make it sound like they didn't plan on laying anyone off. We'll see what happens, and how long this lasts.

My wife works at a doctor's office, so she'll keep bringing a paycheck home, but it's definitely not enough to pay our bills. Here's hoping for the best...

Essentially, yes. But it's the scrap traps before he spawns. They give good xp. Then after you kill Scrap Trap Prime, you head out the tunnel to exit but there's a ledge you can jump on to that allows you to re-enter the area. The little scrap traps respawn, and so will Prime. You can do that over and over.

This video shows how to do it:

I saw Joltzdude do it, and Killer Six. Once you activate Mayhem Mode, everything scales to your level, so you get lots of enemies that are easy to kill and give decent xp. It's a quick, easy farm and can be reset without having to save/quit. It's awesome for console, with the slower loading times.

I bought the super deluxe version. One thing to mention about the Moxxi DLC is that if you want to play Zane, his best class mod is only available in that DLC. It's what brought him from ok to bring a top tier Vault Hunter.

I have been farming scrap traps on Mayhem 1 for a while now with my Breath of the Dying. Holy crap is that a strong weapon now! The balls it releases when you kill an enemy are insane! I down myself 4-5 times a run because of them, but the scrap traps are easy to kill so it's not an issue. I got to level 47 last night running that and a couple rounds of the Slaughter Shaft. I'll hit 53 tonight, hopefully, and then turn to leveling Moze!

The gameplay of 3 is fantastic. The story, not so much. The first DLC did improve on that, which was nice to see. I hope the 2nd DLC keeps up with that improvement.

I've gotten my Fl4k to level 39, and am almost done with the main story. I'll activate Mayhem mode, and head over to the DLC to level up for a while. I switched my build around from using Fade Away (and the green tree) to Rakk Attack (and the orange tree) and it seems more powerful. I'm crushing bad asses and bosses. Having a couple near-level Lob shotguns helps...

One quick tip for the socket... Use a rare weapon if you are low on materials and just want to check off the box on the journey. A rare will only use white, blue and yellow mats and some gold.

I have no idea what to run this season. I was thinking Barb, since IK is a fast and easy start then switching over to Frenzy... But I played Barb last season. I'm also thinking about WD for the new Spirit Barrage set, or Monk to play with the recent Patterns of Justice - Tempest Rush build. I always liked Tempest Rush, but Uliana's start isn't great. I'm so torn.

I have only killed Wotan with Amara so far. I did also get a corrosive Cutsman from my Scraptrap farming, which was a nice surprise. Once I get to 53, I'll probably head over to Wotan with Zane. I have a level 50 shock Cutsman, so I may need to refarm Borman Nates for a 53 of both shock and corrosive.

I got my Zane up to level 50 last night. I've been running a boss fight in the Moxxi DLC that has a ton of adds, and can be reset without having to save and quit. It's kinda boring, but I got a couple nice annointed Lucky 7 pistols which helped. I can now equip my Redistributed SMG that Wotan dropped on my Amara. I still have to get 3 more levels and some gear, but Zane is definitely a powerhouse now!

DLC2 is coming March 26th, mayhem 2.0 is coming in April, and then the next takedown event is in May.

The Gaige thing is strange to me, but whatever. I liked her in BL2 so I'm happy to see her in 3.

The sneak peak of DLC3 and the idea for DLC4 both intrigue me. I think Salvador could be involved in DLC3, which would be cool. I'm excited for the upcoming free content as well!

I'm hoping the new DLC adds something major - either a new skill tree for each character, or ideally, a new Vault Hunter to the game. That, plus a level cap bump so you can access a 2nd capstone skill would be great.

We'll see what happens tomorrow.

I've been playing BL3 since launch, just haven't been posting much. Sorry!!

I took my Amara from 50 to 53 last night doing the Slaughter Shaft. She's ridiculously powerful, with the Ricochet Witch build. I was just running Mayhem 1, but large groups of mobs get crushed in 1-2 shots with my Recursion.

I also have a level 41(I think... I'm not 100%, but it's low 40's) Zane. He's been a blast. I played the story far enough to be able to equip class mods, and then went into the DLC. The "Seein' Dead" class mod is ridiculous, activating his kill skills on hit - which happens all the time when firing an SMG or AR. I love the voice lines from Zane - I like how character more than Amara, who was pretty bland IMO.

I also recently started playing Fl4k, and pushed him to the upper 20's last night. I'm using Fade Away with the rocket launcher Jabber pet. I finished the Moxxi DLC last night, and now I'm going back to Eden-6 to continue the story. Fl4k can definitely dish out some huge damage, so I'm excited to keep playing him.

I do have a level 11 Moze from when I first started the game. Killer Six has started a playthrough with her, and he's getting me excited to come back to play her. I have a couple decent class mods saved for her already, too.

I'm definitely enjoying the game still, and am really excited to hear about the second campaign DLC that's getting announced tomorrow at PAX!
