I know some of us are horders, and held onto everything.

Does anyone have the AlwaysIdentified and GUIDStripper tools I built for Torchlight way back then?

I'm of the mindset that we should probably relegate things to general gaming unless they become a dominant topic.   Can change categories of decayed forums to something for archival, and I bet we can even disable posting in decayed forums.   It might serve as a bit of better organization, and of course, it will mean a slightly more dynamic flow than most forums.  Buuuut, it will make sure that the active places are at least relevant.

It's a thought anyways.

I also just recently learned, and was crushed, that there's a 3rd book, Obsidio coming out, but not until March of next year.  The wait will destroy me. ;_;

More seriously, i've enjoyed a number of books, I posted about one I really enjoyed, but most of them are in audiobook form as of late.  I listen on the commute into work.

I just signed up for a book crate, finally got suckered into one of those subscription things.   Means I'll get at least 8 more books this year to read.

I think the most adult thing I'm going to read/listen to though is 'This book is full of spiders' and possibly 'What the hell did I just read:  A novel of cosmic horror', however, I'm pretty sure that those are only considered adult on the most crude level.

I should compile a list, and I may, with ratings of what I've gone through already this year.  That requires energy I don't have at 6:00am though

Noted.   I did buy a Wii U -just- for Mario Maker.  It's one of my few non-regret
console purchases.  But, it's still mild regret cause that's the ONLY game I really have enjoyed on that console.   It has given me the value of the console about 8x over.   But, Games like that are rare.

Will put it in the 'reasons to buy a PS4' list, and maybe I'll grab one.   They're mildly affordable these days.

This could be something to do if you've logged into the backup forum.   I'm unsure.  I tend to stay logged in, other than admin functionality.

FWIW, It doesn't seem super naggy about it's F2P nature either.

Now, even after saying that, I picked it up to look at with a few friends, but, it's not doing a lot to entice me or pull me in.  Now, of course, some of that can easily be blamed on me.  I'm very jaded by MMOs and easily see through most mechanics as 'time-sink' or some other bullshit, and very few games have elements in them dedicated to providing fun.   Somewhere along the way (in my opinion) MMOs became more about how much skinner box can they fit into boring ass tasks and how long can they con the player into doing them.   Especially when you're tackling any of these games solo.

Don't know what would finally entice me exactly, but, haven't found it yet.

That said, I did murderhobo my way through quite a number of things in ESO.   It's frankly just more convenient than bothering with anything else half the time.   I also did appreciate one guy that followed me around and begged me not to kill the NPCs as they hadn't done anything to me.

I simply replied with 'Lulz, phat lewts' and became everything I hate in the world.
