We are under a month before this game comes out and there is tons of news out there about the game.  I have been avoiding it like the plague but I still managed to pick up some useful bits.

The most interesting one, for me, is that there are separate difficulty levels for puzzles, questing, and fighting.  So if you are interested in the puzzles and questing you can set those to hard and combat to easy and have at it.  I have been debating what level to set mine at for my first play through.  I imagine that I will eventually play through at the toughest setting.  I might just start off on hard across the board.  I believe there is one level higher than that.  Though I might have to play through with the questing at a lower setting the first time as it can be tricky to figure out where to go next on a first play through.

A bit annoyed that they haven't release the game codes yet.  I bought mine at NewEgg and I hope they don't wait until the last minute to send me my code.

Well I have hit level 49 in Borderlands.  Level 50 is the cap without purchasing expansions.  I believe there are two of them that raise the level cap by 10 each.  A bit torn if I want to do that.  Overall I am enjoying the game still, but it is getting a bit grindy.  Though the big problem is that different quests make you redo the same areas multiple times.

Glad you are happy with this.

Doesn't move the needle for me.

Well I am now 3-0.  I might have to retire to preserve my perfect record.

Well I am installing.  So you should get credit.  If you don't let me know and I will head down to SoCal and kick some ass.

Will you eat a bag of Doritos if you're right?

I thought so.

The problem is that Steam/PlayStore seems to be charging too much to host the game.  Which in turn motivates people to do it differently.  I hope people look at uPlay as an example of a traptastic platform and realize that it is not that easy to do.  Origin is tolerable.  But the last thing I want is multiple of these things on my computer.

As for subscription, I don't think it is for me.  I prefer the current model.  I don't play a ton of different games.  I tend to go for long stretches on a single game.  Having 'access' to all at the same time is wasted for me.  I rather buy and own a game than do that.

I have mixed feelings of a D2 remaster.  On the one hand I would be able to collect breast plates again.  On the other hand it would be more of the same, been there done that.

A series implies more than one: :P

That is a game I wish I had a chance to play.

I won't be excited until I have a real idea of what they are up to.  Multiple projects doesn't mean anything at this point.  It certainly does not guarantee D4.

Honestly the only Blizzard franchise I like is Diablo.  So I think the chance of them making something I don't like, or that I am not interested in, is high.

Meant to do this last night but forgot.  I'll try to remember.

yeah...that is the character I played the first time through and it was a blast.  Not very nuanced, but fun.

I am having a good time with my Siren so I will keep going.  Armor would be a good thing to have in the game.  At least in some form, other than just a shield.  Right now I in the Tiny Tina DLC and I am constantly upgrading my guns and trying to find the right balance.  One of the things that they got right is that, at least up to now, there is no perfect gun.  There seemingly is a negative for all of them.  It is not always more damage equals a better gun.  How fast, how accurate, does it block your vision as shoot, reload speed, magazine.  So many factors in what is a good gun.

The dialog in the game is fantastic.  Handsome Jack's way of thinking sadly mirrors how the GOP operates these days.  Don't like the narrative flip the script.

As for not liking that they killed Roland, I would have been pissed if that had been Mordecai, as he was my character in the first.  I was pissed enough with Bloodwing biting it.
