Nice!  I gotta try a Monkey King build again sometime.  Last time I tried it, I couldn't figure out how it's supposed to work, especially Sweeping Wind, so I switched to something else.

Oh, sorry.  :P

My Euro Demon Huntress completed a GR 70 the other day.  Tonight she gambled her first Primal from Kadala, and it's a keeper:

I don't think I currently have an M6 DH on Euro.  Looks like that will have to change.

Man, I love the scenery in this game!  The bridges over the various rivers and streams in Act I are really nice.

The screenshots don't really do justice to the moving water and the spray from the waterfalls.

I think it's amazing.  I've seen the same pic posted in a few places, often with people commenting "I don't get it."  Maybe there's nothing to get.  I think the "normal" human brain sees some kind of implied parallax and concludes that the pictures have to be at different angles, but maybe some people have better brains than me.

Well... okay.  This better be worth it.

I spend too much time on Facebook as it is.  But one thing I try to do is control my Friend list, because it can get out of hand.  So one of my purges years ago introduced a new rule that I have to actually know the person in real life.  I was making lots of online friends (including many from here, and various predecessors such as the SP subforum of wherever we used to be -- I don't even remember), and it felt weird seeing pictures of people's kids, them hanging out with their friends, talking about stuff, and I've never met any of the people involved.

I have nothing personally against anyone here (at least that I can think of) but Facebook for me is more personal.  I know that it's different for a lot of people.  For many, Internet friends are just as "real" as folks they grew up with or work with or anything else.  I probably interact more with "online only" friends than my buds from school or my family, who are scattered all over the country.  But rules are rules.   :P

I was just thinking about our little group here and how, sadly, it continues to shrink.  Such is life.  I think I can handle it, but I can't help but wonder what happened to some of the formerly more prominent folks.  Whatever happened to MicTar?  He was a good guy.  Butch?  Jedsia?  Did people just kinda lose interest and drift away over time?

Seriously though, there are a lot of items which are pretty useful in season or if you don't have anything else.  But if you've been playing long enough to start getting Primals, you almost certainly have something better in your Stash.  I use Krelm's Buff Belt on a lot of characters, though, so it's possible that the Set Bonus plus the cranked-up stats might be worthwhile.

In other news, Luther (Barbarian Reborn) ran a GR 72, which is an all-time Seasonal high for me.  Insanely fun WhirlyBarb.  I doubt I'm gonna beat that for a while.

Level 'em up and use Caldesann's Despair.  Caldesann's Despair is a cube recipe that lets you add Vit or any mainstat to Ancient Legendary and Set items.  Next level of the grind is running higher and higher Grifts to level up the Legendary gems.  The higher the level of the gem, the more stat gets added to the item.

I've had (softcore) Necros die a few times and I never saw Final Service either.  I thought maybe if it happens too fast, it doesn't trigger, but that would be a bug, presumably a known one.

Ran a GR 70 with my WhirlyBarb last night, finally.  Most of his equipment isn't Ancient yet, so I'm thinking he could probably go a bit higher once I get a few upgrades in place.

The other night in Asia, my Lady Necromancer was running Bounties and generally minding her own business, and a green arch and portal suddenly appeared and said she was worthy to enter.  She'd just completed the Trag'Ouls set (via Haedrig's Gifts) so this was a nice surprise.  I hadn't even planned on running the set dungeon, hadn't bothered with the clue or anything, but I gave it a shot and completed it on the second try.
