Yeah, this one keeps going and going. Maybe they're afraid to just end the season and return to only non-season play because at this point there's a huge percentage of people who only play during seasons, and Blizzard knows that, and the next season or patch or whatever isn't ready to happen yet. But I don't actually know how all that works, so I'm just guessing. I've never understood the business model for Diablo in the first place; you play for free, being on Battle.net doesn't generate any actual revenue, but they want as many people to play as they can get?
I'm a sucker for seasons, and I always have some character who I could run some bounties or rifts with, just for the hell of it. But when the season ends, I'm fine going back to my non-seasonal characters. I suppose I could do that, anyway.
